The upstairs King Charles suite features historic oak panelling and period furnishing. It provides a self-contained distinctive yet comfortable suite for entertaining, VIP lounge, meetings, group workshops and family parties. The fully carpeted suite is laid out over two levels, divided by four steps. The upper level accommodates a large banqueting table and the lower level has easy chairs and coffee tables.
The room also contains the twinning charters with Husum, and a banqueting table and chairs made by Thompson and Co (famous for their trademark of a mouse carved in the front leg of every piece of furniture). The panels are believed to be about 400 years old and came from Newnham Paddox in Warwickshire, the demolished home of the Earl of Denbigh. There is a Cumberland Green slate map depicting the Borough boundaries on one wall, a much enlarged photograph showing Kidderminster in the 1960's covering the whole of another wall and a stained glass window depicting the life, land marks and the history of Kidderminster.
