Fairport Convention, the legendary pioneers of British folk-rock, return to the stage in 2026 with their much-anticipated Spring Tour.

Formed in 1967, Fairport Convention have spent over five decades at the forefront of folk music, winning fans across generations with their electrifying live shows and timeless sound. With a BBC Lifetime Achievement Award under their belt and their album Liege & Lief voted “The Most Influential Folk Album of All Time” by BBC Radio 2 listeners, the band continues to be a vital force in British music.

The band features:

• Simon Nicol – guitar, vocals (founding member)

• Dave Pegg – bass guitar

• Ric Sanders – violin

• Chris Leslie – fiddle, mandolin, vocals

• Dave Mattacks – drums (special guest and former member)

Joining them on tour is the remarkable Jenn Butterworth – an award-winning guitarist and singer based in Scotland, known for her powerful performances and musical brilliance.
